The stars and the emptiness between will never have seemed so unsettling as they do after listening to Perpetual Motion. While the music instills a sense of wonder and curiosity with all things beyond the exosphere, Pixelgypsy has us looking up and listening for something not of this terrestrial origin, and worried we’ve found it.

Throughout our search, the stillness of Pixelgypsy’s music puts us at odds as we realize our rapid trajectory through space in spinning, orbiting, and spiraling about the universe at unimaginable speeds. Four tracks convey us, fixed in this state, along an immutable course, but we are left completely ungrounded as we finally encounter the unknown at our destination.

Perpetual Motion is a visceral set of songs that excites our curiosity and permeates our senses with unease.
